Darkness

There was darkness, A musty smell in the air.
Lights exploded here and there across the sky. Men, women, and children alike dropped all around.
Was this their mortal end? Or was this just their beginning?
Through the dead bodies, she ran to him. She couldn't leave her son behind.
Shrapnel fell across the sky with each heated burst of light. Buildings were flattened as each second passed.
She reached her son. but it was too late.
A large shred of steel had pierced through the boy. She stood their, in disbelief.

Darkness - The Other SideIt's dark all around. Where is my mommy?
There are lights exploding all over the sky. I can't find my mommy.
Is she dead? Is this how it ends?
I see people running all around. There are people being crushed, burned alive, everywhere.
Big pieces of the sky are falling all around. I'm scared; my house just collapsed.
I hear my mommy yelling.
It's coming from around me. I just can't find...
Why is it dark now? Why don't I see the big booms? Where did my mommy go?

Carpenters Middle School Band Concert

Um, not sure how to make an event on here, so I'll just post it as a journal.

All of you are invited to the CMS Holiday Concert. It will be Tuesday, December 8th at 7 PM. It will be at CMS. If you need directions, leave me a note or comment on here. I'd love to see everyone here.
